But there may also tremendous opportunities for exploring another science in this moment. There is nice quote “Necessity is the mother of invention”.                                                                                                                                                                                                                               I will start my thoughts stream by acknowledge that There are all of sudden impacts of Covid-19 pandemic like unemployment, illness or death of near or dear one person, business crisis etc lead mental instability which end of impact on physical health. On the other side of darkness, that might help us to give short pause of human activity from fast and running life to enjoy the ethereal beauty as well family love and space to heal earth.

Ayurveda in Present day?
Ayurveda has been going popular day by day in the last few years. Ayurveda has been widely accepted as a relevant and effective alternative medicine in western country. These alternatives focus on much more of a holistic approach, healing the mind, body and soul which include Ayurveda therapy, Herbal supplements, specific Ayurvedic diet, yoga, and more.

What is Corona Virus and how impact on Human Body?
COVID-19 is a respiratory disease, in that lungs are usually affected first. Early symptoms include fever, cough, and shortness of breath. These appear as soon as 2 days, or as long as 14 days, after exposure to the virus. The severity of COVID-19 varies from mild or no symptoms to severe or sometimes fatal illness.
The immune cells produce cytokines to fight infection, but if too many are released, it can cause problems in the body. This can come in the form of an inflammatory response, sometimes called a “cytokine storm.” which leads to fluid leaking from small blood vessels in the lungs. The fluid collects in the lungs’ air sacs, or alveoli. This makes it difficult for the lungs to transfer oxygen from the air to the blood. There isn’t a specific treatment for but we just need to support the person through this process as best we can, allowing their bodies to heal and their immune system. As  we can understand that strong immunity is main factor to protect our body from any kind of infection. If our body and mind is healthy and strong, body will able to handle and recover or heal fast itself from inflammatory response of cytokines which released by immune cells. So we have to boost our immunity and strength of all over body not just muscle strength.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Everyone want to get immunise from Covi-19 but actually Do you know in real meaning what is immunity?

The immune system refers to a collection of cells, chemicals and processes that function to protect the skin, respiratory passages, intestinal tract and other tissues from foreign antigens, such as microbes (organisms such as bacteria, fungi, and parasites), viruses, cancer cells, toxins, allergens etc. The immune system can be simplistically viewed as having two types: innate immunity and adaptive immunity. Innate immunity is the inborn resistance against infections that an individual possesses right from the birth, due to his genetic or constitutional mark-up. Acquired immunity is the resistance against infecting foreign substance that an individual acquires or adapts during the course of life

Immunity concept in Ayurveda
Vyadhikshamatva is described in Ayurveda which concept is considered equivalent to immunity. In Sanskrita, the word Vyadhikshamatva‟ is made up of two words; Vyadhi (disease) and Kshamatva (suppress or overcome). Therefore Vyadhikshamatwa means the factor which limits the pathogenesis and opposes the strength of disease.
In Ayurveda immunity explained in two divisions

Vyadhi-balavirodhitvam: It is the capacity to restrain or withstand the strength (severity) of the diseases i.e. Strength to resist the progress of disease.

Vyadhi-utpadakapratibandhakatva: The resisting power of the body competent enough to prevent the occurrence and re-occurrence of the disease.

In Ayrveda, There are nine factors which are responsible for decreasing immunity,Obesity, Emaciation, Imbalance muscle,Defective bone tissues, Defective blood, Weakness or fatigue, Nourished with unwholesome food, Decrease appetite for a long time, and Individuals with feeble mind

What is the Bala and it’s an Important?
Health of an individual depends upon good strength of the body tissues. It is difficult to treat the disease occurred in one whose body strength is low and hence Acharya Charaka prefers the Bala (strength) examination of an individual before starting the treatment.

तत्र बलेन स्थिरोपचितमांसता सर्वचेष्टास्वप्रतिघातः स्वरवर्णप्रसादो
बाह्यानामाभ्यन्तराणां च करणानामात्मकार्यप्रतिपत्तिर्भवति ||

Acharya Susrutha in the above verse states that Balam is that factor due to which one achieves the stability and nourishment of Mamsa dhatu (muscle tissue), ability to carry out different tasks efficiently, obtain good complexion, clearness, and pleasantness of voice, along with the clear efficient working of sense organs, motor functions, mind, and intellect. How captivating is that the great sage describes the whole concept of immunity in just one verse and that too very precise and well-defined!

Normal state of kapha and wholesome diet considered as Bala means good strength of the body tissues, otherwise it continuously improper nourishment of Dhatus (tissue) which result in decreasing bala means immunity.

Though your best line of defence is to choose a healthy lifestyle to prevent this kind of diseases.

One of my prefer ways of taking Ayurveda medicine for the prevention of respiratory illness is to take selected herbs According to advice of experienced Ayurveda doctor in form of decoction, allow it to cool until just Luke warm, and add 1 year old honey before drinking.

Why old honey is useful for respiratory disease instead of fresh honey?
Old Honey acts as a perfect Anupana — a catalyst for augmenting the effect of the herbs because one year old honey is reduces Kapha, penetrates deeply, and connects the actions of many herbs, it will increase the efficacy of herbs multi-fold.
